Sierra Boucher

6th Grade Science Teacher

Sierra has a bachelor’s degree in environmental science from Florida State University, and is currently pursuing her master’s degree in science education. She’s been passionately teaching science for the past three years, and she strongly believes that hands-on learning activities promote inquiry, engagement, and student achievement.

When she’s not teaching, Sierra enjoys being outdoors, gardening, kayaking, hiking, building Lego, traveling, exploring new beaches, and eating pizza. Her personal heroes are David Attenborough and Sylvia Earle, and her best friend, Yeltsin the Tortoise, who is excited to become a class pet this year.
