Our Team

Rachel brings nine years of teaching experience to Great Minds Virtual. She taught first grade for three years and sixth grade for four. She also served as a Reading Specialist in an elementary school for the last two years. She has her Master’s degree in Reading Education, as well as 30 additional graduate hours focusing on middle grades education coursework. She firmly believes that all students deserve an equitable, well-rounded education, and strives to provide her students with real-world learning opportunities daily.

Rachel resides in Knoxville, Tennessee. She has a passion for reading, animals, and exploring new places. She is thrilled to be joining the Great Minds Virtual team, and to assist her future students in reaching their highest potential.
